They were nice enough to give me nutrition facts per serving and per can. Well, let’s break down the nutrition facts and ingredients then. I thought it was just a texture from the can. I did look on the Mountain Dew website for this and they said the grip thing is a special ink to make the grip. Still, if I really liked the flavors, I’d be annoyed with trying to drink out of this can. On top of that, it is freakin’ sticky! I like the resealing idea with the little lip, but the tiny hole is not ideal, especially if I’m pouring this into a glass.Īlas! I only have to do two more of these so it isn’t a big deal I guess. The last thing I want when I’m gaming at my computer is spilled liquids. They are marketing this to their gamer audience. Maybe their MK 2 will improve this because I don’t see why this is necessary. Unfortunately, this still has that really annoying top which will probably shoot juice onto my ceiling fan when I open this. It’s like an extra grip which I think is cool albeit unnecessary. The can also still has that sort of bumpy feel to it on the black part. Why? The Amp logo and the little fire thing look fine. The Mountain Dew logo still looks like it was taken from the internet at too small of a size and then dragged on the edges to look bigger. If it was more shiny looking, I think it might have been too much on the eyes. I think that’s a good move because the black meshes well with it. This shade of green is almost neon, yet it has a sort of matte look to it so it isn’t quite as shiny. Mountain Dew and green just work together so nicely. I think this is the coolest looking can out of the entire Game Fuel line. Looks like it is time to do a sort of back to back post since I own the original Dew Kickstart as well! Still, I have no tried the original Dew Kickstart and I have not tried this green Game Fuel either. Maybe that’s why my consensus on these has been pretty much the same since I found Kickstarts quite lame. Hmm, you know what? Game Fuel and Kickstart are sort of the same thing, aren’t they? They aren’t quite energy drinks, but they aren’t quite soda. They did the same with Kickstart too which was supposed to be a sorta juice and energy drink hybrid too. I find it slightly odd that these Game Fuels have mostly been some sort of juice hybrid and they just have a Mountain Dew flavored one. I’m really not looking forward to it since these have been both mediocre and pricey. I think it is cherry, but I don’t own a can of that yet. There’s still one more of these flavors to write about and that’s whatever the red can is supposed to be. I feel like this is going to taste like flat Mountain Dew or really watered down Mountain Dew that you can get at a soda fountain. They aren’t really trying to make it some fruit juice flavor now and instead are just sticking to their tried and trusted Mountain Dew flavor. This one is supposed to be original Mountain Dew flavor so I sort of have some hope for this one. Well, I am back with another one of these annoying Game Fuels.
